Built From the Ground Up
The high standards we bring to every project were forged by our founder, Paul A. Campione Jr. After graduating from Tottenville High School in 1966, he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam campaign. He returned home a Sergeant, decorated with the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
After returning home, Paul Jr. pursued his trade with the same intensity he brought to his service. He worked for Brooklyn Union Gas Co. (now National Grid), completed a five-year Apprenticeship Program with Plumbers Local #371, and attended the Mechanics Institute in Manhattan at night while working full-time during the day. In 1978, he and his father, Paul Campione Sr., co-founded P.A.C. Heating, initially focused on new residential construction and gas appliance installations across Staten Island.
As the company grew, so did its scope. After earning his Master Plumber License, Paul Jr. expanded into full-service plumbing. Then in 1994, he acquired an air conditioning company and taught himself the cooling trade, establishing the business as it stands today. Fully licensed across New York and New Jersey, P.A.C. Plumbing, Heating, & A/C now holds NYC Master Plumber Licenses LMP 591 and LMP 2485, a New Jersey Master Plumber License, a New Jersey Master HVACR Contractor License, a New York Gas Operator Qualifier License, and additional certifications in backflow prevention, hydronic heating, and refrigerant handling.

Campione Jr. has served on the YMCA of Staten Island Board of Managers, chaired the Staten Island Broadway YMCA, received the Generosity Award from Habitat for Humanity, contributed to rebuilding the Richmond County Yacht Club after Hurricane Sandy, and remains an active member of the American Veterans Association, the VFW, the DAV, and the Elks Club.
