Importance of Split Ductless Systems

Ductless Mini Split Systems are not your typical HVAC unit. They are made up of one of more indoor air handlers and one outdoor condensers. These systems are built to deliver tempered air through air handlers which can be set up as different zones throughout your home. A split system consists of different components and the purpose of it is to extract the hot air and humidity inside your home/office and sending them through the compressor into the air outside of your home/office.

Split systems are great because they are very cost efficient and can save plenty of energy keeping your utility bills low. Your system works similar to regular central air conditioning but the thermostat is a mobile remote that can mounted anywhere in the room controlling the unit’s temperature, fan speeds, and humidity. They are very easy to maintenance each year and are inexpensive if you are having a technician do so. Many split systems also have air filters so they can help remove any dust or allergens from entering your home. The installation process is seamless and system is easy to operate. Additionally, the condenser is so quiet, you can barely hear the fan and motor when the unit is on.

Research shows that by using a split ductless system you can save up to 30 percent on your utility costs as opposed to traditional Air Conditioning and Heating Systems. The filters are also reusable, so now you can save money and breathe better at the same time. If that’s not a win-win, I don’t know what is.
