How the Hydro Jetting Process Works

Before any high-pressure cleaning begins, we typically perform a camera inspection. This locates the blockage, identifies its type and severity, and confirms the pipe is structurally sound enough to handle the pressure. Sending high-pressure water into a compromised pipe without that step isn’t cleaning. It’s a risk.

Once the line is confirmed, a flexible hose is inserted into the drain or sewer access point. The nozzle sprays high-pressure water in multiple directions simultaneously, scouring the pipe walls as it advances through the line. The process relies entirely on water, with no chemical drain cleaners, making it appropriate for the pipe interior and the surrounding environment.

A follow-up inspection after jetting confirms the line is clear and flowing freely. Because the process cleans the full pipe diameter rather than just puncturing the clog, results typically last longer than snaking alone.
