Sink Installation in Staten Island

Licensed Sink Installation by a Staten Island Plumber Since 1978

Since 1978, P.A.C. Plumbing, Heating, & A/C has handled sink installations for Staten Island homeowners. That includes new builds, full replacements, and everything in between. We cover kitchen, bathroom, and utility sinks, and every job starts with an inspection of your existing supply and drain connections before we recommend anything. That matters here. Staten Island’s older housing stock means many homes are running on outdated plumbing that warrants a closer look before a new sink goes in.

Sink installation isn’t just swapping fixtures. Proper supply line connections, drain slope, P-trap assembly, and code-compliant hookups all have to be right. In homes with aging infrastructure, that often means evaluating shutoff valves and drain lines as part of the job.

Sink Types & Installation Scope

We install all common residential sink styles. Whether you’re replacing a worn kitchen basin or remodeling a bathroom from scratch, we handle the full installation: faucet hookup, supply line connection, and P-trap drain assembly included.

Kitchen Sinks

Drop-in (top-mount) sinks sit in a countertop cutout and are secured with clips from below. Undermount sinks attach beneath the counter surface and require solid countertop support. Farmhouse or apron-front sinks are larger and need cabinet modifications to accommodate the exposed front panel. Each style has different mounting requirements, and we size the work to match your countertop and cabinet setup.

If you have a garbage disposal, we connect it as part of the kitchen sink installation. Dishwasher drain lines that tie into the sink drain are also part of the scope.

Bathroom Sinks

Pedestal sinks are primarily wall-mounted and use the column to conceal supply lines and help support weight. Vessel sinks sit on top of a vanity surface and require a taller faucet to clear the rim. Wall-mounted sinks need proper blocking inside the wall for support. Vanity-integrated sinks come as a unit with the countertop, and we handle the rough-in connections for those as part of a broader bathroom remodeling project.

Utility & Laundry Sinks

Utility and laundry sinks require sturdy mounting and proper connection to a floor drain or standpipe drainage. Before the sink goes in, we confirm the drain configuration is correct and that existing lines can handle the load.

Paul’s Home Care Club: Ongoing Peace of Mind After Installation

A new sink is only as reliable as the plumbing supporting it. Paul’s Home Care Club gives you twice-yearly plumbing checkups covering faucets, under-sink traps, garbage disposals, and emergency shutoff valves. That kind of routine attention catches a slow drain or dripping supply line before it becomes a cabinet full of water damage.

Members receive a full waiver of the standard diagnostic fee and 15% off all repairs, plus Paul’s Leak Free Guarantee. To put the value in perspective: a leaking toilet alone can waste more than 50,000 gallons of water per year. Proactive checkups are what keep small issues from becoming expensive ones.
